EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - American Reg MRI Tech (ARMRIT), ARRT-MR, ARRT-R or ARRT(R) certification requirements

Responsibilities

Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner, maintaining imaging quality and adherence to standards.
Uses AIDET to communicate with patients, identifies service needs, ensures correct exam for each patient, and builds rapport.
Positions patient and equipment, adjusts immobilization devices, moves equipment, and sets exposure factors.
Follows safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies; uses sterile techniques and maintains hand hygiene.
Maintains equipment and work area to meet cleanliness standards; coordinates with engineers/physicists for optimal operation.
Screens entrants to department in line with approved policies; documents requisitions, patient history, pregnancy status, shielding, and consent forms.
Maintains imaging records per policies and ensures timely interpretation and storage.
