Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health College Station MRI Technologist position is full-time and Mon-Fri with on-call requirements. The role performs MRI studies supervised by a Radiologist and follows established protocols to diagnose disease and injury.

Essential duties include high-quality MRI procedures, patient communication, proper patient positioning, strict safety practices, and accurate documentation in medical records.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - ARMRIT, ARRT(MR) or ARRT(R) certifications

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and explains the test to be performed.
• Positions patient and equipment, adjusting exposure factors as needed.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and sterile techniques.
• Keeps equipment and area clean, reports issues, and maintains supplies.
• Screens people entering the department and documents patient history and consent.
• Maintains imaging records according to department policies.
