Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at College Station Medical Center. The role involves performing MRI procedures under radiologist supervision, following established protocols for accurate imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Certification in MRI (ARRT MR) or Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARMRIT preferred.
• Experience: Less than 1 year in imaging or MRI setting welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol and physician orders.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Position patients, adjust immobilization devices, and set exposure factors as needed.
• Ensure safety by following infection-control, radiation, and sterile techniques.
• Maintain imaging records and documentation per department policies.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and supply management and report issues.
