Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under Radiologist supervision. You will follow established protocols, communicate with patients, and ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

The role requires a high standard of care, adherence to infection control, and meticulous documentation. Full-time schedule is Mon-Fri with potential call requirements, supporting diverse patients in the College Station facility.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certifications: ARMRIT, ARRT(MR) or ARRT(R) required.
• ARRT(R) or ARMRIT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Utilizes AIDET to communicate with patients and explain the test.
• Position the patient and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors.
• Maintain safety, infection-control and sterile techniques; follow policies.
• Maintain equipment and work area; report issues and assist with supplies.
• Screen individuals entering the department per approved policies.
• Obtain, verify, and maintain requisitions, chart notes, and consent forms.
• Maintain medical imaging records per department policies and standards.
