Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-quality diagnostic images with patient-centered service. This PRN role supports the department by maintaining safety standards and accurate RIS documentation, while assisting with protocols and training as needed.

The candidate will have ARRT or ARMRIT credentials, CPR certification, and state licensure as applicable, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience performing MRI procedures
• Ability to prepare and position patients for scanning
• Follows safety regulations and documents in RIS
• Maintains equipment and clean work area
• Certifications and licensure as required by state

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images
• Screen and prepare patients, explain procedures and position patients
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with supervision
• Adjust MRI parameters and ensure accuracy of imaging
• Maintain records and comply with accreditation standards
• Support department with protocol updates and inventory management
• Assist in training new team members
• Handle other assigned tasks
