Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in New York seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images with a patient-centered approach and strict safety standards.

You will perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, follow physician orders, and maintain RIS records while supporting the team with protocol updates and training. This role offers DailyPay and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be capable of performing MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients prior to examination using two identifiers.
• Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures; position patients for scanning.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed and follow physician orders.
• Maintain RIS records and ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area.
• Maintain MRI equipment and comply with ACR accreditation requirements.
