Qualifications

• Experience operating MRI equipment.
• Ability to screen patients and obtain consent.
• Knowledge of MRI safety and standard nursing procedures.
• Familiarity with IS software used in radiology (MAK, Syngo, PACS, Lifelinks).

Responsibilities

• Operates the MRI unit and calibrates equipment for daily use.
• Positions patients to obtain satisfactory examinations.
• Screens patients and visitors prior to entering imaging areas.
• Verifies informed consent for examinations requiring it.
• Records patient history and imaging data in the chart and IS systems.
• Assists radiologists and contributes to protocol development.
• Performs quality control tests and notifies service personnel as needed.
