Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic images using MRI technology in our radiology department. You will collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure accurate results and patient comfort.

Required education includes GED or high school diploma, completion of an accredited radiography or MRI program, and ARRT MR certification within 9 months, plus BLS/HCP within 60 days. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic images using MRI technology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months of entering position
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
