Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MR images and support patient care in a fast-paced imaging department.

You will review orders, select imaging coils, perform studies, optimize sequences with physicians, administer contrast per protocol, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation. Competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).
• Minimum of one year MRI experience (preferred).
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within 9 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic MRI images using MRI technology.
• Reviews chart/physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects imaging coil and performs imaging studies with proper techniques.
• Collaborates with physicians to optimize MRI sequences for quality images.
• Administers contrast media per department protocols.
