Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI imaging and produce high-quality diagnostic studies for patient care. You will operate MRI equipment, follow imaging protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.

Required are a radiography/MRI program credential, high school diploma or GED, excellent communication, and proficiency with Office and Google Suite. ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS are required within stated timeframes.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic images using MRI technology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months of entering position
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
