Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic images using MRI technology within our radiology department. You will work closely with physicians and staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

This role requires a GED or equivalent and formal radiography/MRI credentials, plus strong communication and computer skills to support clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI images for clinical interpretation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical personnel to optimize imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and quality control in imaging procedures.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic images using MRI technology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
  
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI programs.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
  

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience.
  

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months of entering position
  
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
