Required are a high school diploma, BLS, ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT MR technologist registration or license, and MRI experience. Advanced MRI certification within two years is preferred. Flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT MR technologist registries or equivalent required.
• Active ARRT registration or state license and 6 months MRI experience or related degree with MRI experience.
• Advanced MRI certification required within 2 years of employment.

Responsabilités

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operate MRI equipment and perform imaging procedures per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Maintain quality control and comply with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapt approach for different patient populations and maintain confidentiality.
