Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services by performing advanced MRI procedures under radiologist direction. Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program approved by the AMA.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRI principles and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established imaging protocols under radiologist direction.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images across multiple anatomical planes.
  • Provide imaging services for a diverse patient population across multiple age groups.
  • Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor and support patient safety, comfort, and care throughout imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to support diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain MRI equipment functionality and comply with quality and safety standards.
  • Support efficient patient flow and overall department operations.
