Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services by performing advanced MRI procedures under Radiologist direction. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and efficient departmental operations across a diverse patient population.

The candidate will ensure imaging quality, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and streamlined workflows.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAHEA/AMA approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of two years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MRI physics and imaging principles.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures per established protocols under Radiologist direction.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images across anatomical planes.
• Provide imaging services for diverse patient populations and ages.
• Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment functionality and comply with quality and safety standards.
• Support efficient patient flow and departmental operations.
