Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT approved radiology program required.
• MRI certification or degree required.
• Two to three years radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT MRI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining care to patients while undergoing exams.
• Informing patients with full details and expectations of their procedure.
• Knowledge and competency to perform diagnostic MRI exams on GE/Siemens 1.5/3.0 T magnets.
• Knowledge of hazards in MRI suite to ensure patient wellbeing.
• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in using Meditech, Sun Workstation, Laser Camera, Pulse Oximeter, Power Injector and other equipment for patient safety and throughput.
• Meets performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff and self-development.
• Performs other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.
