Job summary

Yale New Haven Health MRI technologist position seeks an individual to perform high-quality MRI examinations under radiologist supervision.

Role requires ARRT registration or registry eligibility with 3 months to obtain, at least one year of MRI experience, and CPR (BLS) certification. You will work in Radiology, maintaining equipment and ensuring patient safety.

The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and dependable time management in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or ARRT registry eligible; must obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year MRI experience.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.
• Preferred experience in ultrasound, CT, nuclear medicine, DSA, cross-sectional anatomy and computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic MRI examinations.
• Work timely and independently, complete all tasks.
• Maintain safe functioning, operation, and cleanliness of MRI equipment and coils.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast techniques and use of protective barrier equipment.
• Assist in daily operations of the department.
• Demonstrate good organizational skills.
• Collaborate with department and hospital staff to ensure quality of operation.
