Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine MRI procedures in scheduled and emergency settings, ensuring patient safety and data integrity. The role involves supporting patients and families in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing requisitions, explaining procedures, training staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives while maintaining equipment and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Allied Health is required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • ARRT MRI registry eligible or registered; BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ MRI experience for senior technologist role.
  • Strong communication, patient care, and technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing requisitions, selecting appropriate equipment, and assessing patient needs.
  • Explaining procedures and answering questions to ensure patient understanding.
  • Following quality control workflows and reporting equipment issues.
  • Assisting with daily operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Training and supervising staff, students, and fellows in imaging techniques.
  • Acting as a champion for new processes and supporting research or quality improvement projects.
