Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI examinations, ensuring accurate, complete imaging within established guidelines and prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

You will evaluate image quality, adapt procedures under radiologist direction, maintain equipment knowledge, and support department operations. Training and mentoring fellow technologists and students are part of the role to promote teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS (within 30 days), ARMRIT (within 1 year), ARRT (within 1 year), and Radiologic Technology certificate or associate's degree.
• Competency in MRI procedures, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.
• Knowledge of MRI equipment, safety protocols, and departmental workflows.

Responsibilities

• Performing MRI procedures, evaluating image quality, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Adapting procedures under radiologist direction to achieve diagnostic and therapeutic results.
• Maintaining equipment knowledge, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety standards.
• Supporting department operations through timely image preparation, patient transport, and data entry.
• Training and mentoring fellow technologists and students, promoting teamwork and departmental efficiency.
