Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for Mercy Lorain Hospital and Northern Ohio Imaging Center. The part-time role averages 20 hours weekly, with days/days shifts and Saturday work, no on-call coverage. The position supports MRI exams, patient care, and training of students under radiologist supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT MRI credentials, a compatible associate degree, and current BLS. EPIC/PACS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR) required or within one year of hire.
• BLS by American Heart Association required (preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care).
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system and coils, obtain high-quality images according to protocols.
• Maintain MRI safety for patient and staff, minimize risk.
• Instruct and mentor MRI students and new staff.
