Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio seeks an MRI technologist to perform MRI examinations, producing detailed images for diagnosis and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams. You will ensure patient comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, maintaining EMR/PACS documentation, and upholding PHI and department policies. UH offers a sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or MRI registry requirement (within specified timeframe)
• BLS required upon hire
• MRI-specific education pathways completed (ARRT or ARDMS/NMTCB)
• Ohio radiologic license not required for MRI-only practice

Responsibilities

• Displays commitment to UH mission and values
• Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates to geriatrics
• Performs MRI scans as directed and, after orientation, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered
• Maintains patient care during MRI visits
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of MRI environment
• Maintains knowledge of MRI equipment and safety
• Contributes to department operations and uses PACS/EMR/RIS
• Collaborates with co-workers and clinical staff
