Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Chicago is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist for the Radiology department. The role is 20 hours per week with a Friday 7:30a–6:30p, Saturday 7:30a–4p, and other 7:30a–6:30p shifts as needed.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for MRI hires. You will position patients, select imaging protocols, perform post-processing, administer contrast per policy, and ensure safety and high-quality imaging across the MRI suite.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology or MRI program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• Completion of a formal MRI course at the junior college level or above, or equivalent education/training.
• Experience with diverse patient populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients to obtain high-quality MRI scans.
• Select imaging protocols and technical factors per patient needs.
• Perform post-processing and image enhancement for diagnostic quality.
• Operate MRI equipment and related technology including monitors and injectors.
• Initiate IV access and administer contrast according to policy.
