Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies and ensure high-quality images. You will prepare the scan room, position patients and coils, and communicate with patients throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification is required within 2 years from the date of hire, with a strong emphasis on safety and protocol adherence in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.
• Certified radiologic technologist with MR exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
• 1 Year Experience In CT Or MRI Preferred

• Basic Life Support Required
