Rhode Island Medical Imaging is currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus!*

SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist and according to established policies, this role involves performing MRI procedures, ensuring quality control, providing high-quality diagnostic images, and interacting professionally with patients, physicians, and staff to optimize patient flow.

SCHEDULE:

• 16 hours/week
• Friday & Saturday

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical dexterity and strength to operate MRI equipment, position patients, and handle films and files.
• Ability to determine appropriate studies based on case specifics.
• Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, physicians, staff, and vendors.
• Organizational and analytical skills for data management and interpretation.
• Knowledge to provide proper patient care and perform exams per protocols.
• Bilingual in Spanish/Portuguese preferred but not required.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ARRT registration with MR certification.
• IV experience required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Walking and standing intermittently.
• Lifting/moving patients and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Transporting patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Manipulating equipment and positioning patients.
• Exposure to magnetic fields and RF; must be physically able to work in Zone 3 and Zone 4.
