Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking a motivated MRI Technologist for our San Antonio outpatient imaging center on a PRN basis, with Saturday shifts.

As an MRI Technologist you will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, accurate imaging, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be ARRT MR or ARMRIT certified and hold current CPR; Texas licensure if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT certification.
• Current license from state medical board (where required).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable).
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Education

This is a PRN position at our Touchstone Imaging Medical Center in San Antonio, TX working Saturday's.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
