Job summary

American Health Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, seeks an MRI Technologist for our outpatient imaging center in Beaumont, TX. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and deliver high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and strong benefits including insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT certification with MR or ARMRIT.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning and image quality.
• Monitor patients for safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and per policy.
• Verify patient information, orders and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and front office staff.
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
