Touchstone Medical Imaging, LLC in Mesquite, TX is seeking a motivated PRN MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center on a weekend coverage basis. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering superior patient experience.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Registered Technologist program and current ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT. Collaborative teamwork with radiologists and staff is essential.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable).
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
