Job summary

Northwell Health in Danbury is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires 1–3 years MRI experience and a background in ultrasound or CT is a plus. You will work full-time, 40 hours weekly, with on-call duties and a 40-hour schedule.

Summary

Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides optimum patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely & correctly operate MRI equipment.
• Performs and records # for daily QA.
• Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
• Develops skills in Contrast Administration.
• Demonstrates self direction and utilizes problem solving techniques.
• Cross trained in another modality.
• Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
