Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist to join an outpatient imaging department in Syracuse, NY. The role focuses on performing MRI procedures, maintaining patient safety, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or related imaging field.
• Current ARRT certification is required.
• MRI certification or eligibility required by role.
• Active licensure as required by state or facility.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Review imaging requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs.
• Follow MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures.
• Document and comply with departmental and regulatory requirements.
• Check MRI equipment for proper performance and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff to support operations.
• Note: facility operates two 3T scanners and one 1.5T scanner with two techs per scanner.
