Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our outpatient Imaging Department in Syracuse, NY. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient comfort, and support safe and efficient workflow in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related imaging program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• MRI certification required or eligibility to obtain.
• Active licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures per orders and department protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams ensuring comfort and safety.
• Review and verify imaging requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to patient needs.
• Follow MRI safety protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Document and comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Check MRI equipment for proper performance and report issues.
• Perform routine QA tasks and coordinate service or maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms.
• Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff to support operations.
