Job summary

Talent With Heart in Syracuse, NY is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a busy outpatient imaging department. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and help maintain imaging quality and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• MRI certification required or eligibility to obtain.
• Active licensure as required by state or department.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams with emphasis on comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Review and verify imaging requests for accuracy and completeness; produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs; maintain safety and compliance to MRI standards.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; coordinate service or maintenance as needed.
