Job summary

Henderson Group in Syracuse, NY is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join a busy Imaging Department. You will perform MRI procedures, position patients, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

New graduates are welcome to apply. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and benefits that include health insurance and paid time off. The department operates two 3T scanners and one 1.5T, with two techs per scanner.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related imaging program.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• MRI certification required or eligibility to obtain.
• Active licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification through recognized body.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams while ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Review and verify imaging requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to patient needs.
