Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers in Texas is seeking an MRI Technologist - OIC to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area. The role requires knowledge of MRI systems, patient positioning and adherence to safety policies.

The position involves operating RIS, reviewing exams, and assisting with equipment as needed, with care for pediatric to geriatric patients. Training and orientation provided; benefits include comprehensive health plans and retirement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an outpatient MRI role desirable.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained during orientation.
• MRT Certification from Texas Department of Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with attention to positioning and technique.
• Use RIS for scheduling, tracking and exam completion.
• Operate related MRI equipment and monitoring devices.
• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
