Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States seeks a Diagnostic MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams and deliver high-quality patient care. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure safety, position patients, administer contrast, document in the EMR, and collaborate with care teams.

The role requires AMA/JRCERT approved radiologic technology training, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, ND licensure where applicable, BLS, and MRI training or experience. On-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in AMA/JRCERT approved program.
• MRI training or documented experience is preferred.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required at time of hire.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.
• If working in North Dakota, ND licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams with professional judgment and patient care.
• Interact effectively with patients, families, physicians and other health care workers.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure safety; position patient for exam and provide comfort.
• Administer contrast material as required and obtain patient history for MRI study.
• Document accurately in electronic medical records; schedule and billing procedures.
