Job summary

vTech Solution in Washington, DC, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform adult and pediatric MRI in acute care, ICU, and ER settings. You will ensure patient safety, operate MRI equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The candidate must have ARRT MR, BLS, WA license with MRI designation, and at least 2 years of MRI experience in acute care settings. Night shifts Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts, are required.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT MR certification.
• Washington State License with MRI designation.
• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience in adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, and ER settings.
• Ability to work night shifts, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on adult and pediatric patients in acute care, ICU, and ER environments.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to MRI procedures.
• Participate in overlapping coverage periods to ensure continuous patient care.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
