Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, seeks an MRI Technologist II to provide high-quality imaging care in a patient-centered environment. You will work Friday through Sunday, 7:00pm–7:30am, performing MRI procedures, administering contrast, and upholding safety standards across locations.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years MRI experience, ARRT/ARMRIT certification upon hire, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Three to four years of MRI experience required.
• Must be ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certified upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during scanning.
• Administer IV contrast according to policy and manage related documentation.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and report equipment issues.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely transfer of final images to PACS.
• Adhere to ARRT/ARMRIT ethics and safety standards.
