Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift in a hospital radiology department. The role requires pediatric or Philips equipment experience, and Trauma Level II exposure.

You will work 3x12 hour nights (Thu–Sat, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with weekend shifts and potential to float to affiliate sites. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years MRI experience, BLS and ARMRIT or ARRT MR cert, and Epic charting proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI Technologist experience.
• BLS and ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification required (ARRT MR preferred).
• Pediatric or Philips equipment experience required.
• Trauma Level II experience; Level I, teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting required.
• License to practice if applicable.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast media preferred.
• Skilled in isolation precautions and radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• MRI Technologist position within a hospital radiology department.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Weekend work required; no on-call requirement.
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
• Performs MRI studies across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, MSK, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS equipment.
• Work within a team supporting adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient settings.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction.
• No vaccination exemptions; COVID vaccination proof required.
