Job summary

vTech Solution in Washington, DC, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform adult and pediatric MRI in acute care, ICU, and ER settings. You will ensure patient safety, operate MRI equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The candidate must have ARRT MR, BLS, WA license with MRI designation, and at least 2 years of MRI experience in acute care settings. Night shifts Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts, are required.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Radiology/Cardiology MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI procedures on adult and pediatric patients in acute care, ICU, and ER settings. The role requires ensuring patient safety, operating MRI equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. The technologist must have relevant certifications and experience, demonstrate proficiency in MRI safety protocols, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Special Considerations

• No on-call requirements for this position.
• Three hours of technologist overlapping coverage during shifts to ensure patient care continuity.
• Must have a minimum 3-month separation from any Providence affiliated facility for travel position eligibility.

Scheduling

Work schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
