Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Colorado is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in alignment with scope and practice standards. This is a full-time, onsite night-shift role at the Highlands Ranch campus.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Radiologic Technologist program graduation, ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT eligibility, and BLS/CPR certification. You will work with a supportive team, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in MRI or ARMRIT eligibility with registry within 12 months.
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA/Red Cross with active through start date and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patient about procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast Media and/or medications within scope; monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety and quality control; reports malfunctions.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and addresses image quality issues; transmits reports.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
