Job summary

UCHealth Greeley Hospital in Greeley, CO seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

The role is onsite with flexible shift options; required ARRT MRI registration or eligibility, and BLS/CPR certification. Compensation is $40.40–$56.56 per hour, commensurate with experience, and includes UCHealth's total rewards program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT with MRI registration or eligible and registry within 12 months by ARRT or ARMRIT.
• BLS/CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; assists with scheduling and educates patient regarding procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications when ordered; monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety and performs QC.
• Positions patient and performs imaging; analyzes results and addresses imaging quality issues; reports scan results.
