Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with policies and standards. You will position patients, monitor safety, and obtain quality images while coordinating with physicians to solve image quality issues.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification and BLS; you will work nights in a hospital imaging department with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited imaging program with MRI specialization.
• Current ARRT MRI certification and CPR/BLS credentials required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced imaging department with others.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs MRI procedures per scope and policy.
• Ensure MRI safety and respond to patient or physician needs during exams.
• Prepare contrast media when ordered and monitor patient condition.
• Educate patients about procedures and obtain required histories.
