Job summary

Memorial Healthcare is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with department standards in Hollywood, FL.

You will review orders and patient history, educate patients, ensure MRI safety, and perform exams with attention to image quality and patient comfort. On-call duties and strict adherence to ARRT and hospital policies are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification required.
• Graduate of accredited imaging program.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient on procedures.
• Position patient and perform MRI procedures per protocols.
• Maintain MRI safety per ACR and hospital policy.
• Monitor patient; respond to changes in status.
• Prepare equipment; perform quality control; troubleshoot equipment.
• Administer contrast media when ordered.
