Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is actively seeking an MRI Technologist to perform tomographic MRI scans across designated body regions in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography or MRI program, hold ARRT MR or ARRT RT credentials, and possess BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year MRI experience and additional Life Support credentials. On-call and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• One (1) year of experience in MRI preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.
