Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with MRI specialization to perform magnetic resonance imaging in alignment with department standards and the organization’s values. This is an onsite, full-time night shift position.

You will review patient history and orders, prepare contrast media if ordered, adjust imaging parameters, ensure safety, and document results. ARRT MRI registration or eligibility and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT and MRI registry or registry eligible with completion within 12 months by ARRT/ARMRIT.
• BLS/CPR certification through AHA or ARC, valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, orders, and scheduling; educate patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as appropriate; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors; implement safety standards; perform quality control; report equipment issues.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results; ensure image quality; document scans.
• Demonstrate critical thinking; work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
