Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging. The role involves setting imaging parameters, acquiring and processing images, and coordinating with radiologists and staff to support efficient workflow.

You will rotate across the MRI suite, handle contrast administration and safety checks, and participate in quality assurance activities along with a team of professionals.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials preferred
• Educational background in Medical Imaging or equivalent degree
• Ability to operate MRI hardware and software with safety and accuracy
• Excellent patient communication and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory, inpatient, and ED patients, adjusting parameters for diagnostic quality
• Instruct patients on MRI safety and ensure adherence to department policies
• Inserts IV catheters and administers MR contrast agents; monitors for adverse reactions
• Conduct QA procedures on MRI equipment and document results in EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists and MRI leadership to optimize patient flow and scanner utilization
