Job summary

The role requires ARRT MRI certification (or equivalent), specialty training, and strong knowledge of MRI safety and anatomy. Proficiency with imaging systems and data entry into RIS is essential for accurate reporting and workflow support.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification (or equivalent) required.
• Graduate from a specialty training program.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and explain MRI procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans per radiologist-approved protocols.
• Administer IV contrast and manage venous access as directed.
• Enter data into radiology information systems and process images.
• Identify anatomy on images and conduct quality control checks on equipment.
• Report equipment issues and collaborate with the team on supply management.
• Provide radiological support to physicians and liaise with care staff.
