Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform imaging procedures and ensure patient safety in a clinical setting. You will prepare and position patients, administer IV contrast, and enter data while supporting physicians with imaging needs.

Qualifications

ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification required upon hire.
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program.
Ability to operate imaging systems proficiently and handle non-controlled medications.
Knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
Prepare, position, and explain procedures to patients, addressing questions and ensuring safety standards.
Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed.
Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomy accurately.
Conduct quality control tests on equipment, report malfunctions, and notify maintenance personnel.
Manage supplies, act as a radiology liaison, and support physicians with imaging needs.
