Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a stable, full-time team operating a state-of-the-art mobile scanner. You will work with local facilities to provide patient-centered MRI services in a variety of settings while building lasting relationships within SMS ONETEAM.

You will perform MRI imaging, manage patient care, and maintain high professional standards. ARRT or ARMRIT credentials are required or preferred, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered.
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred.
• Produce quality MRI images with limited supervision.
• Pass pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and clearly explain the procedure to patients.
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality; keep up technical skills via continuing education.
