Job summary

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to oversee daily MRI floor operations and coordinate education opportunities. You will help monitor satisfaction metrics and optimize workflow for quality and efficiency.

Requires 5 years of MRI experience, a JRCERT-radiography education, and ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification upon hire, plus BLS. This full-time role is based at the Royal Oak site with department leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant MRI technologist experience.
• ARRT MRI certification upon hire or ARMRIT upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day floor operations within the MRI modality and coordinates education opportunities.
• Monitors patient and employee satisfaction, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assigns and monitors MRI technologists to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Assists manager with payroll duties as assigned.
• May lead special projects assigned by leadership.

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955, as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Scope of Work

• Oversees day-to-day floor operations within the modality, monitors quality and coordinates education opportunities during these operations.
• Monitors customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction results, looking for trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Assigns and monitors the work of MRI technologists to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Assists manager with payroll duties as assigned.
• May lead special projects assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent (Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program), Required.
• 5 years of relevant experience as a MRI tech required.
• CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARRT Upon Hire Required Or CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) ARMRIT Upon Hire Required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association Upon Required or CRT-Basic Life support (BLS) -American Red Cross Upon Hire Required.
