Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited Imaging program completion required.
• ARRT-MRI registration or ARMRIT-advanced MRI registration within one year of hire.
• BLS certification as provided by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patient on procedures, equipment, and exam.
• Perform MRI procedures and ensure image quality.
• Maintain MRI safety standards per ACR and hospital policy.
• Position patient and select imaging parameters.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment, supplies, and contrast media as applicable.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions.
