Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations, following established protocols and ensuring high-quality patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

You'll position patients, select appropriate protocols, and maintain competency in all related imaging tasks while supporting quality control and patient education. ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS are required at hire.

Qualifikationen

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI technologist preferred.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registered; Basic Life Support (BCLS) upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrates competence in all MRI procedures on patients of all ages and positions patients.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Performs quality control procedures per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and communication.
• Positioning and protocol selection for radiological exams for all age groups.
